The first time I heard 'DJ' I was hooked. It's a totally infectious, brilliant pure pop tune. You get the feeling that if STEPS were to have continued this tune would have cropped up somewhere along the line. It's extremely Steppy but it's production is slicker and it's result is a more polished and mature sound. H & Claire have amazing voices, H was criminally underused in STEPS, and so I'm looking forward to hearing more of him as a duo with Claire.
I reckon this track could follow in the footsteps of One For Sorrow and Love's Got A Hold On My Heart and become the summer pop anthem of 2002. It really deserves to be a huge hit of the No.1 variety, but whether or not it will be is another matter. It'll definately be top 5 and H & Claire really deserve this to do well. Let's keep our fingers crossed and this could be a hit of gigantic proportions!
